A Typical School Day
School runs 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Breakfast After the Bell
All students at Harrah Elementary School are provided free breakfast from 8:00 to 8:45 AM daily. Students can stay in the cafeteria until 8:45 to finish breakfast as needed, and students who arrive after 8:30 can still go to the cafeteria to get breakfast.

What Your Student Learns Each Day
Every student has reading, writing, math, and science or social studies every day. Here is what you may hear your student talk about:
- SEL (Social-Emotional Learning): The first 30 minutes of the day, building skills like managing feelings and getting along with others.
- Reading – Whole Group: The whole class learns reading skills together.
- Reading – Small Group: Students work with the teacher in small groups at their level.
- WINN (What I Need): Extra time for each student to get help or a challenge, based on what they need.
- Writing, Math, Science/Social Studies: Daily lessons in each subject (math is 70–75 minutes in most grades).
- Specials: Classes with specialist teachers outside the regular classroom.
